The Sweating Sports Man
General July 17th, 2008One of the things we as sports people are far too familiar with is excessive SWEATING.
Whatever the sport you play i, if it involves physical exertion, there’s gonna be some sweat that comes with it!
For some people, it’s a natural thing - they just sweat alot!
But for others, it’s an actual problem.
I mean, there’s a condition that causes us to sweat more than we should.
I mean don’t get me wrong, when you sweat alot, you burn off calories right? So it’s not all bad? It’s just that when the burning of calories is accompanied with the uncomfortableness (is that a word?) and the embarassment of having your pits filled with too much water - it’s not really worth it.
So how do you know if you’re one of the people for whom it’s an actual condition. Generally the best way is to see a doctor. He/she will be able to tell you whether or not the sweating you experience is normal for your body, or unnatural, and a result of the condition called Hyperhydrosis.
If you’re in the latter category, it’s no big deal. There are ways to defeat sweating; and natural ways too - ways that don’t cost an arm and a leg and don’t make you ill!
Alot of these ways are outlined in a report called Stop Sweating Start Living by this dude called Mike Ramsay. A friend told me to review it and I really found it quite helpful.
Stop Sweating Start Living lays out some methods like how to wash your self properly, what clothes to wear to avoid sweating, what herbal cheap remedies you can take that are proven to reduce the condition, and more.
So if you’re an excessive sweater, that’s my tip of the day!
